Fiorio comes from Pace University, where he was an associate head coach and defensive coordinator. He also coached at his alma mater, assuming the role of special teams coordinator, recruiting coordinator, and defensive backs coach. He helped guide the Hawks' pass defense to rank 34th nationally.

Fiorio also coached defensive backs at SUNY Maritime in addition to taking on the role of video coordinator. He coached at Cardinal Hayes High School in Bronx, NY as defensive backs and wide receiver coach.

A graduate of Saint Anselm College, Fiorio lettered in football and also served as a Cannoneer in the U.S. Army. He currently resides in Scotch Plains, NJ with his wife, Heather and daughter, Cassia.
