tying for the league lead with five interceptions and adding 10 pass breakups ... Had three picks against Kean (10/19), including one he returned for a touchdown ... Notched 45 total tackles and a fumble recovery on the year ... Named to D3football.com Team of the Week after producing four pass break-ups and an interception against Montclair State (10/5) ... Named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after the three-INT effort against Kean ... Ranked 15th in the country in passes defended per game (1.5) and 23rd in interceptions per game (0.5)
2023 (SOPHOMORE): Integral part of the defensive secondary rotation ... Played in all 10 games, finishing with 19 tackles on the season ... Had three tackles against both Muhlenberg (9/16) and Montclair State (9/30) sandwiched around a four-tackle game at F&M (9/21) ... Racked up a career-best five tackles in the win at Salisbury (10/28)
2022 (FRESHMAN): Played in all nine games on special teams ... Notched five tackles, including two at Christopher Newport (11/5)
BEFORE TCNJ: Played football, basketball, and lacrosse at Brick Township High School ... Earned all-division and All-Ocean County first team laurels as well as a third-team All-Shore award ... Honor Roll student ... Helped at Autism Surf Day
WHY TCNJ? Campus is very close to home and ever since my first visit for football, this school just felt like the right fit, from the coaching staff to walking through school buildings, I was able to see myself going here.
PERSONAL: Birthday is November 22 ... Parents are Stan and Michele Kurc ... Has two siblings, Ryan and Emily ... Biggest athletic thrill so far has been the intensity of practices at TCNJ ... Also plays club lacrosse ... Enjoys fishing, longboarding, and lifting ... Favorite postgame meal is a burger and fries from Wawa ... Favorite athletes are Steph Curry and Deebo Samuel ... Is a huge Star Wars and Marvel fan
