2015: Led the team in special teams tackles with nine, six coming on kickoffs and three on punts. Forced a fumble in a victory over Montclair State. … Had a pair of rushes against Wesley College. … Was  awarded the inaugural 'Heart of the Lion Award', which is presented to the Lions football player who, while demonstrating his commitment, dedication and effort within the program, carries the highest ideals of the program with him in his off field endeavors; thereby displaying the 'Heart of the Lion’.

TCNJ college football player donates live-saving bone marrow

2014: Played in eight games at the running back position and special teams. Rushed for a career-high 51 yards against defending national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater. Broke off an 18-yard run in that game in the opening drive. … Caught a pass for nine yards against Morrisville State.

2013: Appeared in eight games during his rookie season. … Returned two kicks for 29 yards…Also had a reception for 12 yards against Rowan… Matthew is a TCNJ Scholar Athlete.
