Sullivan Parker has twice suffered season ending injuries during his Lion career, but has managed to return each time to contribute to the Lions. Look for him to be a leader on the team’s secondary unity this fall as he possesses both experience and great cover skills. In addition, he should see time as a member of the Lions’ special teams unit where he also has experience.

As a sophomore in 2005, he played in all ten games with eight starts and racked up 16 tackles with a pair of interceptions only to have his junior season cut short by an injury and play in half the team’s contests with a pair of starts. TCNJ’s coaches are optimistic that if healthy, Parker could be a great asset and may be among the top backs in the league.

He was a member of TCNJ’s track and field squad that has captured NJAC Championships both indoors and outdoors. A sprinter for the Lions, TCNJ is counting on his success on the track to carry over to the gridiron in 2007. A former team captain at Bergenfield High School, Parker is a health and exercise science major at TCNJ.
