Biography

2016-17: Named Preseason All-American by D3News
Murdock followed up his sophomore campaign by making 25 starts, averaging 13.3 points per game, and leading the team in both assists (5.6) and steals (1.6)... Murdock led the NJAC and was 27th in the nation in assists... He was also second in the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.93)... Named first-team All-NJAC and 3rd team All-Atlantic Region by d3hoops.com... Became the 24th player in program history to reach the 1,000 point mark with a three pointer against Rowan... Enters his senior campaign 18th in career scoring and second in career assists in TCNJ history.

2015-2016: Starting all 28 games for the lions, Murdock enjoyed a very successful sophomore season.  Averaging 19.1 points per game, on 45% shooting.  Murdock led the lions in minutes (36), rebounds (6.5), points, steals (1.9), and assists on his way to a variety of post season awards including, first team All-NJAC, 2nd Team All-Atlantic Region and D3hoops.com All-Atlantic 3rd team.  In a NJAC tournament match up against NJCU Murdock put his offensive ability on display with a 37-point performance knocking down 13 field goals including 4 from deep leading the Lions to the 92-82 victory and a berth in NJAC tournament finals.  

2014-15: Enjoyed an outstanding rookie campaign, starting in all 26 games. … Averaged 8.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. … Reached double figures on 11 occasions, highlighted by a season-high 18 points in a victory over Montclair State. … Developed into a long-distance threat later in the season, draining three-point field goals in seven of the final nine games of the season, including three treys in three attempts against Rowan. … Sparked the Lions to a 74-62 victory over Rutgers-Newark, registering 17 points, five assists, four boards, and two steals. … Tabbed NJAC Rookie of the Week after contributing to a pair of conference wins, averaging 12.5 points, five rebounds, and 4.5 assists.
