TCNJ's Tennis Streak Grows to 112 Straight NJAC Matches

NEWARK, NJ…The College of New Jersey powered its way to a 9-0 win over Rutgers-Newark on The Golden Dome Courts to run its record to 112-0 in New Jersey Athletic Conference play.  The Lions have never lost in conference play since the NJAC was formed in 1982.

The Lions rolled to straight set wins in every match except the No. 4 singles, where Rutgers-Newark freshman Fatima Gramatica (Union, NJ/Union HS) split 6-4 sets with TCNJ freshman Tamara Wroblesky (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Boro) before the Lion rookie took a 10-2 super tie-breaker over an hour after all other matches had ended.
