Cubicciotti's goal in OT keeps TCNJ unbeaten

Baltimore, MD… Senior Kristen Cubicciotti (North Haledon, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) scored off of a corner kick with 29 seconds remaining in the first overtime to lift The College of New Jersey women's soccer etam to a 1-0 win at Johns Hopkins University on Monday.

The win kept the third-ranked Lions unbeaten at 10-0-1 on the season, while the Blue Jays slipped to 6-4-1.

Senior Courtney Krol (Howell, NJ/Howell) set up the winning goal taking the corner as Cubicciotti haeded the kick in for her second goal of the season.

Sophomore keeper Jessica Clarke (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) picked up her fifth shutout of the season making three saves and pushed her streak without allowing a goal to 870:19.

In goal for the Blue Jays, sophomore Karen Guszkowski (Sayreville, NJ/Cardinal McCarrick) collected nine saves.

The Lions play another non-conference game on Saturday, October 6 hosting 23rd-ranked University of Redlands from California in a 1 p.m. start.
