Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey women's basketball team hosted the Greyhounds of Moravian College in the team's home opener in Packer Hall on Tuesday night. TCNJ posted a 74-52 non-conference win to improve to 3-1 overall, while Moravian College drops to 1-3 on the season.
TCNJ's junior center
Hillary Klimowicz (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) finished with a career-high 17 rebounds as she paced the Lions on the night. She added 14 points and collected her third double-double and her second straight double-double on the young season and added six blocks for the Lions.
Rookie
Kelsey Kutch (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) contributed 14 points as well for the Lions, while junior guard
Lisa Koch (Oak Ridge, NJ/Jefferson Twp.) added 10 points in the first half of play with six assists.
TCNJ led 36-28 at the half and led by as many as 16 points in the first stanza after opening on a 9-0 run.
By game's end, the Lions' largest lead was a 25 point margin.

Kate Harrison (Cold Spring Harbor, NY/Cold Spring Harbor) added 10 of her 14 points in the first half for the Greyhounds.

The Lions will be right back on the court on Thursday, November 29 heading to Dickinson College to take on the Red Devils in a 7:30 p.m. start. Moravian returns home on Saturday, December 1 to face Elizabethtown College at 2 p.m.
