Ewing, NJ…The College of New Jersey’s men’s tennis team tallied an impressive 9-0 win on Friday as they defeated Ithaca College. The Lions are now 6-0 this season and have bested four opponents by a 9-0 margin on the young campaign and are currently ranked No. 10 in the ITA Northeast Region. Ithaca College drops to 1-4.

TCNJ’s junior Michael Klimchak (Clark, NJ/Johnson) is now 12-2 this season in singles play after once again posting a win at No. 1 singles for the Lions. Teaming at No. 1 doubles with junior Roger Mosteller (Medford Lakes, NJ/Shawnee), the Lions’ No. 1 doubles pair added another win together as they beat Ithaca’s top duo of junior Colin Flynn (Needham, MA/Needham) and freshman Danny Wolk (Potomac, MD/The Field School), 8-0. The Lion pair holds a No. 13 regional ranking and are now 6-0 in dual action this spring.

Junior Eric Ferriere (Branchville, NJ/Kittatinny) recorded his team best 13th singles win as he won at No. 3 singles, besting the Bombers’ Danny Wolk, 6-3, 6-1.
