(Pomona, NJ) – The College of New Jersey (2-0, 2-0 NJAC) defeated Richard Stockton (5-1, 0-1 NJAC) 9-0 in an NJAC women's tennis match today. The Lions won their 118th consecutive league match since 1982 and dealt Stockton its first loss of the season. Sophomores Jackie Shtemberg (Franklin Lakes/Ramapo) and Lindsay Katzel (Boyds, MD/Quince Orchard) led TCNJ with 6-0, 6-0 wins at first and sixth singles respectively.
Both Richard Stockton College and The College of New Jersey will compete in the ITA Northeast Regional Tournament at William Smith College (NY) on September 21-23.
