Madison, NJ… The College of New Jersey field hockey team netted a pair of goals in each half as the Lions erased an early deficit to pull out a 4-1 victory at FDU-Florham on Saturday. 
The win put the third-ranked Lions at 5-1 on the season, while the Devils evened their record at 4-4. 
After a goal by FDU-Florham's 
Krystle Birmingham (Pine Hill, NJ/Overbrook) with 15:47 remaining in the opening half, TCNJ struck twice before the teams went into the intermission. Lion sophomore 
Jessica Falcone (Cherry Hill, NJ/Camden Catholic) accounted for both of those goals with junior 
Katie Reuther (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) picking up an assist on the latter of the two. 
In the second half, freshman 
Kellyn Riley (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) made it a 3-1 with 9:58 left in the game with Falcone setting up the goal. The final goal came from Reuther as she converted a penalty stroke. 
Reuther's goal extended her goal-scoring streak to a modest three games and in that span has posted five goals and three assists. 
In goal for the Lions, junior 
Caitlin Gregory (Winslow, NJ/Eastern) collected a pair of saves. 
For the Devils, 
Jamie SanFilippo (Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) had 10 saves. 
The Lions begin New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Tuesday, September 25 heading to 13th-ranked Montclair State University.
