Klimowicz scores 33 in loss at Moravian

Hillary Klimowicz posted a double-double for the Lions.

Bethlehem, PA… Moravian College overcame an eight-point deficit at the half to pull out an 86-72 victory over The College of New Jersey on Tuesday despite a double-double from senior center Hillary Klimowicz (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood).

The loss dropped the Lions to 3-2 on the season, while the Greyhounds improved to 4-1. 

TCNJ had led 46-38 at the intermission.

Klimowicz had huge game finishing with a career-high 33 points and added 12 rebounds. She shot an impressive 13-of-17 from the floor and was equally as effective from the foul line making seven of her eight attempts.

Junior Alexandra Gregorek (Mahwah, NJ/Academy of Holy Angels) also scored in double figures for the Lions with 12 points.

TCNJ opens New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Saturday heading to Montclair State University to take on the Red hawks in a 1 p.m. start.
