Ewing, NJ… The College of New Jersey women's basketball team hosted the Red Devils of Dickinson College on Monday night in a non-conference match-up. TCNJ would collect the win as they tallied their seventh straight win to improve to 10-3 overall, while Dickinson College drops to 5-5. The Lions would limit Dickinson to a season-low 32 points as the Red Devils dropped their second straight contest.

Hillary Klimowicz (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) became the Lions' 12th women's player to join the 1,000 point club on Monday as the team's captain 13 tallied points and now has 1,001 points in 66 games played at TCNJ.

Stephanie Prall (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) hit a three-point basket with 30 seconds before the half. Prall would tally five first half points, while sophomore forward
Kelsey Kutch (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) paced the team with a 4-4 effort from the floor for eight first-half points. By game's end, Kutch would lead all players with her 14 points, while Prall would finish with nine on the night.
TCNJ and Dickinson had shooting troubles as the two squads were limited to shooting performances of 29.6% and 22.2%, respectively. TCNJ forced 10 turnovers in the first half, while the Red Devils forced 14 Lion turnovers with eight steals. By game' end, the Lions would commit 23 turnovers and finish with a 41.8% effort from the floor (23-55), while Dickinson was held to a season-low effort of 32 points (previous low of 49). The Red Devils shot 18.4% from the floor (9-49) with 23 turnovers.

The Lions would open the second half on an 13-2 run and take a 31-17 lead with 13:45 left to play.

Alyssa Michella (Washington Township, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) would finish the night with 10 rebounds and added one three-pointer, extending her streak to 13 games with a three-pointer.
TCNJ returns to action on January 14 travelling to Rowan University for a 6 p.m. NJAC contest, while Dickinson College will host Bryn Mawr College on January 15 at 6 p.m.
