Pomona, NJ... The College of New Jersey field hockey team scored three goals in the first 15 minutes of the game as the Lions went on to a 9-1 road win at Richard Stockton College on Tuesday.

TCNJ had gone to overtime in each of its last four games, but the Lions made sure they didn't need extra time against Richard Stockton getting off to a very fast start. Junior Jessica Falcone (Cherry Hill, NJ/Camden Catholic) opened the scoring just 1:01 into the game and just over 10 minutes later freshman Caitlyn Jenkins (Mickleton, NJ/Kingsway) made it a 2-0 game. That lead stretched to three goals 1:32 later as freshman Jillian Nealon (Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central) scored with an assist from Camille Passucci (Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls).

After the Ospreys got on the board as Jackie Turner (Medford/Shawnee) scored her fourth goal of the season as junior back Danielle Morris (Millstone/ Allentown) registered her first career point with an assist.

Jenkins and Nealon added goals before the half ended sending the Lions into the break with a 5-1 advantage.

In the second half, Jenkins completed her first collegiate hat trick sandwiching goals around one by Christy Wham (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville), while Kellyn Riley (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) closed out the scoring for the 9-1 final. In all, Jenkins finished the game with four goals.

Sophomore Sammi Brach (Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) made three saves for the Lions.
