Box Score

Glenside, PA…The College of New Jersey women's basketball team had four players score in double figures as the Lions posted a 70-47 road win on Tuesday at Arcadia University.

The win squared TCNJ's record at an even 4-4 on the season.

The Knights netted the first five points of the game before the Lions slowly gained control taking the lead for good just shy of three minutes into the game as junior Kelsey Kutch (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) knocked down a pair of free throws.

TCNJ extended that lead to 37-25 at the half.

Freshman Candace Vigo (New Brunswick, NJ/New Brunswick Health Science Tech.) had her best game as a Lion boasting her first double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Both of those are career highs.

Kutch finished with 11 points, while Keri Washington (Ewing, NJ/Pennington Prep) and Stephanie Prall (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon) each netted 10 points.

A key to the win was TCNJ getting to the foul line and cashing in on those opportunities making 15-of-25. Arcadi went to the charity stripe only 10 times making seven of those shots.

TCNJ returns to New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Saturday, December 12 heading to William Paterson University to take on the Pioneers in a 1 p.m. start.
