Toth's strong effort paces Lions to 15-8 win over Dickinson

Chandler, AZ –The College of New Jersey's baseball team posted a 15-8 win over Dickinson College. TCNJ is now 2-2 on the year.

TCNJ's senior short stop Jeff Toth (Parlin, NJ/Sayreville) paced the Lions after going 5-5 with a double, a triple, five runs scored, and a pair of RBIs. Junior Ryan Anzelone (Vernon, NJ/Vernon Township) hit a two out three-run triple driving in the bottom of the first inning to break open the Lions scoring in the game. He later added a double and finished the contested with a five RBIs. Junior Chris Esperon (Union, NJ/Union Catholic) added three hits with four RBIs. Freshman Mike Galeotafiore (Brick, NJ/CBA) connected for the team's first homerun of the year on a sole shot to deep left field.

On the mound for the Lions, sophomore Connor Henderson (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick) earned the win for the Lions after six strong innings with a pair of earned runs and six strikeouts. Now 1-0 on the year, he is 2-0 on his young Lion career.

TCNJ will face Wheaton College on Monday in the Russ Matt Greater Phoenix Invitational. Game time will be at 3 p.m. (PST), 6:00 p.m. Eastern.
