Box Score

Mahwah, NJ…The College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team rolled to its 10th straight win as the Lions kept host Ramapo College in check with a 20-5 victory on Monday.

The win kept the fifth-ranked Lions undefeated on the season at 10-0 and bumped the team to 2-0 in New Jersey Athletic Conference play. The loss dropped Ramapo to 6-4 on the season and 2-3 in the NJAC.

TCNJ allowed the opening goal of the game, but that was the only time the Roadrunners led as the Lions went on a 14-2 run from that point to forge a 15-5 lead at the half.

The Lions netted the only five goals in the second half to close out the win. It was the fourth time this season TCNJ has scored at least 20 goals in a game.

Junior Ali Jaeger (Hampton, NJ/North Hunterdon) led all players with five goals raising her season total to 51 marking the second straight year she has hit that plateau.

Senior Robin Deehan (Morris Plains, NJ/Academy of St. Elizabeth) netted four goals, while sophomore Kathleen Notos (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) finished with three.

Senior Lisa Seldeen (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) and sophomore Leigh Mitchell (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) added to the win with big games as both players scored twice and dished out four assists.

Between the pipes for the Lions, Mary Waller (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) made five saves for her 10th win of the season.

The Lions continue NJAC play on Thursday, April 15 hosting Rowan University in a 7 p.m. start in Lions' Stadium.
