Fredericksburg, VA ... The College of New Jersey men's soccer engaged in another overtime battle but came out on the short end as Lynchburg College netted the game-winner just over three minutes into the first overtime period to claim a 1-0 victory.

Alex Kirchner (Eschborn, Germany/Goethe University) was there to follow up. But his shot was blocked by a Lynchburg defender to keep the game scoreless.

After playing three games in five days, the Lions can rest up until Friday, when they travel to Elizabethtown to compete in the Elizabethtown Blue Jay Classic. TCNJ squares off against Elmhurst College at 5 p.m. on Friday night.
