Ewing, NJ…In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The College of New Jersey field hockey team will host a "Play For The Cure" game to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research on Sunday,  October 23 contest against Juniata College.

That afternoon the team will sell special pink t-shirts in honor of the event and will accept donations throughout the game, which starts at 2 p.m. in Lions' Stadium. Those pink t-shirts will be sold during the game.

The Lions are also encouraging all fans to pay a $1 admission fee, while 120 pink bracelets will be given away to those who make an additional donation. All admission, t-shirt  sales, and donation totals will go directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure and American Cancer Society.
