Ewing, NJ … The College of New Jersey men's swimming and diving team won its second straight New Jersey Athletic Conference meet, defeating Montclair State University 164-108.

Evan Paulan (Westfield, NJ/Westfield) and sophomore
Stephen Tarnowski (Ramstein, Germany/Ramstein American) led the Lions, winning multiple individual events. Senior
Ryan Clark (Ocean City, NJ/St. Augustine) and junior
Adam Schneider (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) also claimed an individual first place and contributed to both winning relay races.
Paulan finished first in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.86. He also swam the fastest time in the 200-yard individual medley, posting a finish of 2:01.65.
Tarnwoski dominated the 1,000-yard freestyle event with a winning time of 10:03.12. He also cruised to a first place in the 100-backstroke with a finish of 55.06.
Clark won the 100-free in 47.51 and Schneider claimed the 50-free in 22.00. They both contributed to the 200-medley relay win as the Lions took first with a finish of 1:35.85. Schneider and Clark joined senior
Jesse Taylor (Closter, NJ/Northern Valley) and sophomore
Mike Oliva (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) to win the 200-free relay in 1:27.30.
Freshman
Aleksander Burzynksi (Colonia, NJ/St. Joseph's) also won the 50-back and raced in the 200-medley relay.
The Lions are back in action tomorrow when they host Southern Connecticut State University at TCNJ's Aquatic Center at 2 p.m.
