GREENWOOD, Ind. – Gavin Formon added one more honor to his illustrious résumé on Wednesday, as he became the program's first ever two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American.
 
Building off of his Second Team CSC All-American honor last year, the senior economics major earned a spot on the Third Team this year. To earn the opportunity to get the national academic award for a second consecutive year, Formon was one of four Lions to be named CSC Academic All-District.
 
Formon posted a 3.87 GPA while also securing yet another All-American swim at the NCAA Championships this March. With his final collegiate swim, Formon became a four-year All-American with a 12^th-place finish in the 1650 free. The Mine Hill native will graduate as a nine-time NCAA All-American, 15-time All-NJAC athlete, and two-time CSC Academic All-American.
