RICHMOND, Va. – The TCNJ men's swimming and diving team placed six student-athletes on The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, as released by the organization this morning.

Gavin Formon, Andrew Kidchob, Joe McChesney and Matt Liotti all earned spots on the First Team while Mason Bushay and Will Heinze were named to the Second Team.

To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.

An economics major, Formon earned All-America status in the 1650 Free at the 2026 NCAA Championships to push his career total to nine. A College Sports Communicators (CSC) Third Team Academic All-American, the senior concludes his career as a four-time First Team CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Kidchob joins Formon as a four-time CSCAA First Team Scholar All-America selection. An accounting major, the senior finishes his career as an eight-time All-American following top-10 finishes in both the 200 and 400 Medley Relays as well as a top-16 finish in the 100 Back.

A civil engineering major, McChesney earned four All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA Championships en route to his second CSCAA First Team Scholar All-America nod in as many years.

Liotti rounds out the Lions' First Team honorees with the first of his young career. In his debut season in Ewing, the freshman business major posted an All-America finish as the second leg of the 800 Free Relay at the 2026 NCAA Championships.

Bushay and Heinze complete TCNJ's list of honorees with a pair of CSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team nods. Both met "B" cut times for the 2026 NCAA Championships while majoring in kinesiology & health sciences and education respectively.

In addition to the Lions' individual accolades, the men's swimming and diving program also earned team recognition by the CSCAA for finishing with a cumulative GPA of above a 3.0, marking the 20th straight semester the team has achieved the feat.
