Ewing, NJ...The College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team rolled to its fourth straight win as the Lions shutout visiting Cabrini College 16-0 on Thursday.

The win puts the third-ranked Lions at 4-0 on the season, while the Cavaliers fell to 0-4.

TCNJ scored all 12 goals in the opening half with juniors Kathleen Notos (Pennsauken, NJ/Camden Catholic) and Leigh Mitchell (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) each scoring four, while senior Ali Jaeger (Hampton, NJ/North Hunterdon) was in a giving mood dishing out five assists in the frame, while also adding a goal.

The Lions added four more goals in the second half, with the final one coming off of the stick of freshman Katie O'Gorman (Valley Cottage, NY/Nyack) as she picked up her first collegiate goal.

The team's defense, which ranks third nationally in goals-against-average, improved on that number with the shutout as they have allowed five goals or fewer in each of their four games.

Mitchell and Jaeger each racked up seven points in the win with Mitchell scoring five times with two assists, while Jaeger scored twice and had five assists. Notos added four goals with an assist and Jillian Nealon (Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central) tallied twice.

Senior goalie Mary Waller (Bel Air, MD/C. Milton Wright) recorded the shutout for the Lions as she finished with four saves.

TCNJ wraps up its string of three home games on Saturday hosting FDU-Florham at Lions' Stadium in a 1 p.m. start.
