Wrestlers take the mat at Messiah Open

Grantham, PA –
A number of wrestlers from The College of New Jersey wrestling team participated in the Messiah College Open on Saturday as the Lions had two wrestlers place in the top five at 149 pounds.
 
There was no team scoring at the tournament.
 
Josh Grazio (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) was second at 149 as he finished the day with a record of 3-1. Junior Jason Ecklof (Howell, NJ/Howell) placed fourth in that same weight class picking up three victories.
 
TCNJ had a number of other grapplers earn two wins in the tournament and that group included sophomore John Palsi (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Pleasant) at 141, Rick Cordero (Livingston, NJ/Livingston) at 174, and Michael Larcamp (Falls Church, VA/George Mason) at heavyweight.
 
The Lions return home on Wednesday, January 25 when they host 20th-ranked Delaware Valley College for a dual meet in Packer Hall at 7 p.m.
