TCNJ falls 4-1 at Salisbury

Salisbury, MD… The College of New Jersey suffered a 4-1 defeat at the hands of second-ranked Salisbury University on Tuesday as the Sea Gulls scored three of those goals in the opening half.
 
The loss dropped the 10th-ranked Lions to 13-4, while Salisbury improved to 14-1.
 
The hosts led 3-0 at the half and then added a fourth goal 13:32 into the second for a 4-0 lead.
 
TCNJ got on the board with 16:49 left as sophomore Victoria Martin (Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) scored on a scramble in front of the Salisbury goal. It was her fifth goal of the season
 
In goal for the Lions, freshman Roisin Dougherty (Ocean City, NJ/Ocean City) finished with a career-high seven saves.
 
The Lions remain on the road for their final away contest of the season at Manhattanville College on Friday, October 26.
