Box Score

Camden, NJ – Three players scored in double figures as The College of New Jersey women's basketball team capped off the regular season with its fourth straight win posting a 60-44 road victory at Rutgers University-Camden on Saturday.

The Lions (17-8) will have a week off before hosting an opening-round game in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament as the team is the second seed from the South Division. TCNJ finished conference play with a record 9-4 as they are idle on the final day of the regular season, which takes place on Wednesday. The Lions will host the third seed out of the North Division and that spot has yet to be determined. TCNJ will host that playoff game on Saturday, February 18 at 1 p.m. in Packer Hall.

Sophomore Liz West (Monmouth Beach, NJ/Shore Regional) led TCNJ's balanced attack with 12 points, while senior Jessica Imhof (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) and sophomore Tiffany DeTulio (Colts Neck, NJ/Colts Neck) each finished with 11.

The Scarlet Raptors seemed poised to end TCNJ's modest winning streak scoring the first six points of the game. The Lions slowly chipped away at that margin and took their first lead with 9:12 left in the frame as West sank a jumper with assist from Kelly Roddy (Belmar, NJ/St. Rose). West's bucket made it a 12-10 game and TCNJ never looked back as they led y as many as 10 point before going into the intermission with a 30-23 lead.

TCNJ continued to build that advantage in the second half leading by 21 points on three occasions.
