	Reading, PA…In a battle of schools that sport Lions as a nickname, it was The College of New Jersey field hockey team that had all of the bite as they handled Albright College 6-0 on Thursday.   
	 
	The win put the Lions at 11-2 on the season, while Albright slipped to 6-9.
	 
	TCNJ didn't waste any time as they played with the lead from the opening minute with junior 
Lindsey Hatch (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) scoring 42 seconds into the game with an assist from classmate
 Erin Waller (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.).
	 
	Hatch struck again with her team-leading 14 goal of the year 8:36 expired when she tipped in a pass from freshman 
Jaclyn Douglas (Malvern, PA/Great Valley).
	 
	Junior 
Erin Healy (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) made it 3-0 midway through the period, before Waller closed out the scoring with only 23 seconds left before the break. That goal was assisted by freshman 
Shannon Cowles (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.).
	 
	In the second, the lead continued to expand with junior 
Victoria Martin (Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson) scoring 6:06 in the fresh half and Waller added her second of the game nine minutes later.
	 
	On the defensive end of the field, the Lions were dominant as they outshot Albright 27-1, as goalie 
Kelly Schlupp (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) made the only save as she combined with 
Amanda Krause (Richboro, PA/Council Rock North) on the shutout.
	 
	TCNJ has a critical New Jersey Athletic Conference game on Saturday hosting Rowan University at 5 p.m. as the two teams try to position themselves for a home game in the rapidly approaching conference tournament.
