Lindsey Hatch (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) scored five times as  The College of New Jersey field hockey team pushed its winning streak to nine straight on Friday with a 7-2 road win at William Paterson University.

The Lions remained undefeated in the New Jersey Athletic Conference improving to 3-0, while they are 9-1 overall. The loss put the Pioneers at an even 6-6 and 0-3 in the conference.

Hatch opened the scoring 6:02 into the game and TCNJ never looked back, picking up the first three goals of the period. After Hatch's initial score, junior
Erin Healy (Spring Lake Heights, NJ/Manasquan) made it 2-0 just over 11 minutes later. That goal extended her goal-scoring streak to four straight games and she has seven goals in that span.

With 12:52 left before the half, Hatch collected her second goal of the game, before William Paterson added a late goal sending TCNJ into the break with a 3-1 edge.

It only took 3:40 into the new half for Hatch to complete the hat trick, extending the lead to 4-1. After a Pioneer goal made it 4-2, Hatch continued her scoring barrage tacking on a fourth goal with just under 15 minutes remaining.

Freshman
Danielle Andreula (New Egypt, NJ/New Egypt) then scored with 10:03 left on an assist from Hatch, while Hatch closed out her big night with her fifth goal with 5:23 left in the contest.

Jaclyn Douglas (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) and Healy.

Amanda Krause (Richboro, PA/Council Rock North) made five saves for her ninth victory of the season.
