Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey men's and women's tennis teams will be heading to Amherst College this weekend as each team was selected in their respective field in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
 
The men's team (14-1) opens the weekend taking on Babson College (8-5) with the winner of that match advancing to the second round against the host Lord Jeffs (27-8). The Lions, which earned an at-large bid, are making their seventh straight NCAA appearance.
 
The Lion women earned an automatic bid to the tournament last fall by winning the New Jersey Athletic Conference. TCNJ (15-2) will take on a very familiar opponent in the opening rounds facing SUNY Geneseo (15-3). The teams met in the season finale with TCNJ posting a 6-3 victory. This marks the 16^th straight year the Lions have qualified for the tournament.
