Meet Results New York, NY…The ninth ranked TCNJ men's swimming and diving team suffered a tough loss to third ranked New York University 151-147 on Saturday. TCNJ now stands at 3-1 for the season.

James Shangle, Joe Dunn and
Daniel Tsinis along with freshman
Alex Skoog the Lions kept the close only to fall to the Violets by 4 points. (151-147)
Shangle won both the 100 and 200 yard breastrokes in times of 57.19 and 2:07.31 respectively. Shangle's 100 breast is a NCAA provisional time. Dunn won both the 50 freestyle (21.27) and 100 butterfly (51.46). Tsinis won both 1-meter(268.36) and 3-meter diving (288.16) which was a NCAA Regional score. Freshman
Alex Skoog won two individual events; the 100 and 200 backstrokes in 52.24 and 1:52.61 respectively. Skoog's 200 backstroke also was a NCAA provisional cut.
Junior
Scott Vitabile added a win for the Lions in the 100 freestyle with a time of 47.22. Fellow junior
Jason Ivins won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:43.58. TCNJ's 200 medley relay started the meet with a victory in a time of 1:33.90 (Skoog, Shangle, Dunn and junior
