Hoboken, NJ… The College of New Jersey men's tennis team dropped its final match of the regular season on Sunday as the Lions were doubled up by Stevens Institute of Technology 6-3 on Sunday.

The loss dropped TCNJ to 11-3 on the season as they now look to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The announcement of that field will take place at
www.ncca.com on Monday, May 4 at noon.

The Ducks claimed all three points in double, but the Lions stormed back to claim points in each of the top three singles matches. Junior
Pierce Cooper (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) won in three sets at the top spot by the scores of 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, while sophomore
Jack August (Medford, NJ/Home Schooled) earned a 6-1, 6-3 triumph. Junior
Billy Buchbinder (Scotch Plains, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge) then posted TCNJ's other victory of the match at third singles when he won the first set 6-3 before his opponent retired.
