Huntington, PA... The College of New Jersey field hockey team scored three times in the opening period before eventually posting a 4-0 road win at Juniata College on Sunday.
 
The win was the 18
th straight for the Lions and they are 3-0 this season.
 
The Lions got off to a good start when senior 
Mikayla Cimilluca (Fairfield, NJ/West Essex) picked up her first goal of the season. That tally came 8:44 into the contest.
 
TCNJ made it 2-0 as senior 
Alicia Wagner (Hopewell, NJ/Hopewell Valley) collected her fourth of the season on a feed from freshman 
Sidney Padilla (Suffern, NY/Suffern).
 
Junior 
Lexi Smith (Florence, NJ/Florence Twp.) pushed that lead to 3-0 with 12:44 left before the break. Junior 
Jaclyn Douglas (Malvern, PA/Great Valley) earned an assist on the play.
 
The next goal came midway through the second half thanks to the first collegiate goal by junior 
Ally Pennypacker (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview).
 
Goalie 
Kelly Schlupp (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) earned the win and finished with one save.
 
TCNJ is back on home turf on Tuesday, September 15 when they host Cabrini College at 7:30 p.m.
