Senior
Jimmy Gill (Smithtown, NY/St. John the Baptist) placed third overall in the 125-pound weight class. He advanced in his first bout by a 5-2v decision over Hector Guerrero of SUNY Cortland and then toughed out a 3-2 decision over Lenny Ogozalek of Gettysburg. He lost by technical fall to Josh Patrick (unattached) before topping Heriberto Medina, 5-1 and edging Joey Barber of Maryland, 4-3.

At 157, senior
Joe Paton (Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.) defeated John Thouin of Gettysburg College by technical fall 20-3 and then pinned Cory Rank of York (Pa.) 20 seconds into the second period. In the quarterfinal round, Paton was edged by Patrick Gerish of Maryland, 5-4. Paton then earned a decision over Messiah's Tag Wilbur, but fell to Alex Klucker of Lockhaven in the bout for third place.

Sophomore
Stephen Boncimino (Freehold, NJ/Howell) had a productive day at Messiah after wrestling against Wilkes on Friday night. He pinned his first two opponents at 197, taking down Mark Von Heeringen of UMBC at 2:36 and Erik Porch of Liberty at 6:25. He then lost a major decision to Bretton Dempsey of American University. Alex Mirabella (Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) also won by fall in his opening match at 197 before dropping an 11-2 decision to Nick Havener of Messiah College.

Lions crossed paths in the wrestle back as Mirabella squared off against senior
Sigala Fosam (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville). Fosam earned a 4-3 decision to match up with Boncimino. Boncimino registered an 8-1 win before falling in the final for third place.

TCNJ is back in action next Friday night when host Delaware Valley University at 7:30 p.m. in Packer Hall.
