Ewing, N.J. … The College of New Jersey men's tennis team took on a tough North Carolina Wesleyan team this afternoon, and dropped the match 6-3.
 
The doubles teams of Pierce Cooper (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown)/Mitchel Sanders (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) and Matt Puig (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highland)/Tim Gavornik (Millington, NJ/Watchung Hills) recorded 8-4 and 9-8 (7-5) victories respectively.
 
In singles action, Jack August (Medford, NJ/Home Schooled) got the lone win. He won the first set 7-5 and the second 6-4 to secure the victory.
 
The Lions are back in action on April 14 when they travel to Lafayette College for a 3:30 p.m. match.
