Easton, P.A. … The College of New Jersey men's tennis team traveled to Division I Lafayette College this afternoon and came away with a 7-0 match sweep.
 
The doubles teams of Pierce Cooper (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown)/Mitchel Sanders (Randolph, NJ/Randolph), Jack August (Medford, NJ/Home Schooled)/Mike Stanley (Newton, PA/Council Rock North) and Matt Puig (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highland)/Tim Gavornik (Millington, NJ/Watchung Hills) all earned victories to get the point in doubles.
 
In singles action, August, Cooper, Sanders, Stanley, Gavornik, and Omar Bokhari (Lake Hiawatha, NJ/Parsippany) all notched wins to complete the shutout of the Leopards.
 
The Lions hit the courts again on April 17 when they host Christopher Newport University for a 12 p.m. match.
