Fredericksburg, VA... The College of New Jersey men's tennis team fell to the University of Mary Washington by a score of 6-3.

The duo of
Pierce Cooper (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) and
Mitchel Sanders (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) took home the lone doubles victory.

In singles action, two of the six players got wins.
Chris D'Agostino (Belle Mead, NJ/Montgomery) got his victory by scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
Mike Stanley (Newton, PA/Council Rock North) started out with a 7-5 set win, dropped the second set 6-4, and then won the tiebreaker by a score of 12-10.

The Lions are back in action on April 4 when they host Kutztown University. The match is set for a 3:30 p.m. start.
