Ewing, NJ … The College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team marched into the New Jersey Athletic Conference championship game by defeating Stockton University, 15-2 on Wednesday night in Lions Stadium.

The Lions (17-1) will square off against Montclair State University (11-5) in search of their sixth straight NJAC title on Saturday, May 7 in Lions Stadium at 1 p.m. The Red Hawks defeated Rowan University in thrilling semifinal match, 10-9.

Senior
Megan Devlin (Marmora, NJ/Ocean City) scored a career-high five goals for TCNJ, while sophomore
Amanda Muller (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) also set a career-best with four assists in the win.
Erin Waller (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) had a solid game on offense with three goals

Devlin and Muller were in form early on when Muller found Devlin for a goal just over five minutes into the game. Waller made it a 2-0 lead when she streaked through the circle and found the bottom right side of the net for her 23
rd tally of the season with 19:50 to play.

The Lions got hot and scored four goals in the four minutes. Freshman
Kathleen Jaeger (Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central) spun from her defender at the top of the key and rippled the back of the net to extend the early lead to 3-0. She struck again just 26 seconds later for her 10
th goal of the season.

Less than a minute later, sophomore
Emily Kratz (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) extended the lead to 5-0 when she cashed in on pass from freshman
Erin Harvey (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape). Junior
Mia Blackman (Arlington, Va./Field School) entered the scoring column of a feed from Devlin. It was her 25
th of the season.

Ahead 6-0, sophomore
Elizabeth Morrison (Stonington, CT/Stonington) picked up a ground ball near midfield and charged through the circle to rifle a shot for her 11
th tally of the season. Two more scores from Waller and Devlin capped the scoring in the opening half.

The Lions outscored the Ospreys 6-2 in the second half. They compiled seven assists on the night and held a 16-3 advantage in draw controls. Morrison was dominant, fielding five draw controls, four ground balls, and causing three turnovers. Devlin was also active in the midfield with four ground balls and four draw controls.
Freshman goalkeeper
Miranda Chrone (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) raised her season record to 17-1 with the win.

TCNJ will look to secure an automatic bid with a victory in the championship match. It would be their sixth straight conference title, while Montclair is seeking its first NJAC championship. The Lions defeated the Red Hawks, 8-6 on April 9 in Montclair, NJ.
