The Lions (2-)) scored on three free position opportunities with back-to-back goals from Kathleen Jaeger (Whitehouse Station, NJ / Hunterdon Central) and the final coming off the stick of Mia Blackman (Arlington, VA / Field School). Jaeger then assisted Donoghue on a goal with 1.3 seconds remaining in the first half to extend TCNJ's advantage to 5-1.

The Lions pushed the lead to 9-1 on Jaeger's third of the game midway through the second half. TCNJ would take their largest lead of the game at 11-2 on the first collegiate goal by Alexandria Fitzpatrick (Burlington, NJ / Northern Burlington).
