CAMDEN, N.J. – The College of New Jersey lacrosse was dominant throughout Tuesday afternoon, defeating Rutgers-Camden 20-2. The Lions improved to 6-4, and 2-0 in the NJAC. The Scarlet Raptors fell to 4-4 and are 0-1 in conference play.

The Lions took control of the game from the start, jumping out to a 13-0 lead in the opening half on their way to a 13-1 halftime advantage.
Olivia Cleale led the way for TCNJ, scoring three goals and adding four assists in the opening frame.
Kasey Donoghue also recorded a hat trick in the first 30 minutes. The remainder of the early scoring was balanced, with
Alexandria Fitzpatrick,
Jessica Allen, and
Allie Gorman each finding the back of the net twice.
Erin Jaffe provided the remaining Lions goal.
Erin Harvey was consistently finding open sticks with four assists.

Talia Bouzakis took over for the Lions in the second half, scoring a goal and adding a pair of assists. Harvey and
Kathleen Jaeger each found the back of the net twice. Gorman would complete her hat trick and
Emma Karnitsky scored her first collegiate goal.

"It felt really good to help the team get a win," said Karnitsky. "I need to keep working hard every day in practice in order to continue this momentum."
Harvey secured a team-high five draws to go along with four ground balls and a caused turnover. Cleale set a new career-high with six ground balls. In all, TCNJ secured 31 ground balls to just seven for Rutgers-Camden.
Miranda Chrone made three saves to earn the win.

The Lions will look to keep the momentum going when they travel to fifth-ranked Salisbury University for a non-conference game Saturday. First draw is set for 2 p.m.
