BRUNSWICK, MAINE – The College of New Jersey men's tennis team saw its season come to a close Friday afternoon, falling to Skidmore 5-1 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The 17
th-ranked Thoroughbreds improved to 16-5 win the win, while the 33
rd-ranked Lions end the season at 15-4.

Skidmore opened play with an 8-3 win at third doubles. After the Thoroughbreds took an 8-4 win at number one,
Mitchel Sanders and
Thomas Wright combined for an 8-4 victory at number two.

In singles play, Skidmore got straight set wins on courts one and six. The teams split the first two sets on courts two, three, and five. In the third set on court two, Skidmore earned the victory that clinched the match.
