PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its selections for lacrosse Players of the Week. Lions senior Miranda Chrone was named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week, and junior Alexandria Fitzpatrick was selected as NJAC Offensive Player of the Week.
 
The 2019 NJAC Goaltender of the Year was on her game Sunday, as the 15^th-ranked Lions defeated the 16^th-ranked Mules of Colby College 11-7 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Chrone made 10 saves in the victory playing all 60 minutes in net. She also caused a turnover and scooped a ground ball.
 
Fitzpatrick extended her consecutive games with a goal streak to 21 scoring once and adding a career-high four assists. Fitzpatrick was also a key member of the Lions ride, coming away with a game-high three caused turnovers.
 
The Lions continue to NCAA Regionals, where they will face fourth-ranked Tufts University on Saturday.
