EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey men's tennis team competed in day two of the Ducks/Lions Invite Sunday afternoon. The Lions competed against doubles teams from Stevens Institute of Technology and Wilkes University. TCNJ took 10 of 12 competed matches.
 
The Lions started by earning a split of four matches against the Ducks. Matthew Michibata and Nick Matkiwsky combined for an 8-6 win. Akul Telluri and Justin Wain won in a tiebreak. Michibata and Matkiwsky combined to go 3-0 on the day.
 
In a pair of rounds against the Colonels, TCNJ swept all four matches in each round. Thomas Wright and Gokul Murugesan as well as Rahul Panoli and Oliver Rodriguez won both of their matches against Wilkes.
 
The Lions return to action at the ITA Regionals hosted by Hobart College on Sept. 27.
