The TCNJ women's basketball team has begun the 2021 season with four-straight wins. The Lions will look to keep the winning ways going against Kean this weekend. Game one will be Feb.19 at Kean and game two will be in Packer Hall on Saturday.

FAST START
TCNJ is off to the program's best start since the 2002-03 season, when the Lions started 5-0. The last time TCNJ started 6-0 was in 1998-99. That year, the Lions began the season with 25-consecutive wins.

SWEEP OF THE SCARLET RAPTORS
TCNJ swept Rutgers-Camden last weekend by final scores of 78-62 and 82-65. In game one,
Julia Setaro scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Setaro followed that up with a career-high 29-point effort in game two on 7-of-10 shooting from three-point range.

SETARO NAMED D3HOOPS.COM TEAM OF THE WEEK
Setaro earned national D3hoops.com Team of the Week honors for her impressive pair of games. The sophomore guard averaged 25 points per game in limited action, only playing an average of 21 minutes per game. She posted efficient shooting percentages of 70.3% (19-of-27) from the field and 68.7% (11-of-16) from three-point range. Setaro is currently ranked ninth in all of NCAA Division III in scoring with an average of 23 points per game.
Setaro became the second Lion to earn D3hoops.com Team of the Week honors in as many weeks.

ACCESS DENIED
The Lions rank third in the nation in blocked shots per game with an average of 7.5 rejections. Devitt ranks third in NCAA Division III in blocks with an average of 4.2 per game.
"Our team is very motivated coming into the next two games against Kean," Devitt said. "We have been improving this week on some of our weaknesses from both games last weekend. We are excited for the opportunity to get back on the court and put it all together for another strong set of games coming up."

SCORING IN BUNCHES
The Lions lead the NJAC in scoring with an average of 73 points per game. TCNJ also is the conference leader in made three-pointers with 33 this year.

ON THE HORIZON
TCNJ will conclude the regular-season schedule next weekend against William Paterson on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27. Game one is at William Paterson and game two is in Packer Hall. The Lions will hold senior day on the 27
th to honor Devitt,
Elle Cimilluca,
Jane Beiermeister, and
Natalie Miller.
