Game Preview: Lacrosse at Salisbury

Series History: TCNJ leads the all-time series 28-9, and the Lions have won four of the last five meetings, but the Seagulls took the most recent meeting with an 8-7 win in 2019. Both sides have seen plenty of turnover since that game, with six of the eight goal scorers from that game no longer on their respective teams. Lydia McNulty scored once for Salisbury in that game and is the Seagulls second-leading scorer this season with 11 goals. Emma Skoglund scored twice for Salisbury and is on this season's roster, but has yet to make an appearance.
 
Weekly Sweep: TCNJ swept the first set of weekly NJAC honors after winning its season opener over Cabrini 18-4. Erin Jaffe scored a career-high seven goals and had nine points on her way to NJAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors. Ali Natalicchio made seven saves to earn NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors. Jillian Westerby recorded six draw controls, four ground balls, caused four turnovers, and added an assist as she was named NJAC Rookie of the Week.
 
In the Rankings: Both teams enter the game ranked in the top ten after each moved up one spot in the IWLCA rankings this week. Salisbury enters the game ranked fifth and the Lions are currently ranked 10th. Salisbury currently ranks third in the country with a .875 shooting percentage on free-position shots. TCNJ ranks sixth in the country with a .636 save percentage.
