PITMAN, N.J. – TCNJ women's basketball junior guard
Julia Setaro earned All-NJAC Second Team accolades, the league announced Tuesday. Setaro is a Second Team selection for the second-straight season.
The All-NJAC teams are based on conference-only stats, and Setaro excelled against conference competition in 2021-22. She finished the league schedule ranked seventh in the NJAC in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game.
She reached double figures in points in 13 of her conference games this year, recording a high of 33 points against New Jersey City in December. She also scored at least 20 points in four other NJAC games.
Setaro led the conference with 39 three pointers and a 36.1 percent mark from three-point range. She also finished fifth in the NJAC in field-goal percentage (41 percent) and fourth in free-throw percentage (80 percent).
Setaro and the Lions will face top-seeded Kean in the NJAC Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
