PITMAN, N.J. – TCNJ sophomore starting pitcher
Jordan Gray earned NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors, announced on Monday by the league.
Gray threw a complete game in Friday's win over Haverford, allowing just one run. He struck out eight and walked just one batter in earning the victory. It was the first complete game of his career. The only run he allowed came in the sixth inning while TCNJ was already ahead, 9-0.
For the season, Gray is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP in two starts. He's allowed just 10 hits and three walks in 15 innings while striking out 14 batters. Opponents are hitting just .192 against him.
The Lions return to action on Tuesday at home against Penn State Abington. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
