JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The TCNJ Wrestling team took care of business in a road matchup at NJCU on Friday night with a 41-7 victory. The Lions took at least four points in every win with none of the bouts resulting in a TCNJ win being by decision. This win brings them to 8-4 on the season and gets the Lions back in the dual match win column.
 
Ryan Rosenthal started off the night strong with a 9-1 major decision win over Lucas Torre at 125 lbs. Kyle Nase followed Rosenthal's win with a dominant technical fall victory over Bless Daniel at 133 lbs. Nase pulled his lead to 18-0 at the 2:56 mark to earn the tech fall.
 
Daniel Hong kept up the early pace for the Lions with a major decision victory of his own over Andy Beras at 141 lbs.
 
At 157 lbs., freshman Alexander Martinez picked up right where he left off last week, pinning Zack Vera at the 2:27 mark in the first period and moving to 4-1 on the season.
 
Nick Sacco extended his winning streak to six matches tonight at 165 lbs. with a victory by fall over Jaydin Mahon just under two minutes into the first period.
 
Senior Reid Colella put on a show at 174 lbs., earning himself a 16-0 technical fall victory over Ryan McGuire 15 seconds into the third period.
 
Seniors Joe Daddario (197) and Peter Wersinger (285) ended the night in style with both of them winning their matches by pinfall. Daddario pinned Marcus Hebron just over one minute into the second while Wersinger got his pinfall victory over Deren Cercioglu at the 2:06 mark in the first period.
 
TCNJ Wrestling is back in action at home next Saturday, January 28^th against Ithaca College with the action starting at 2 PM.
