LOUISVILLE, KY.- The 16^th ranked TCNJ Wrestling team took 8^th place on Saturday after losses to No. 12 Loras College (16-15) in the consolation semi-finals and No. 5 North Central (24-18) in the seventh-place match at the NWCA Dual Meet National Championships.
 
The Lions battled back and forth in the first match with Loras College that came down to the final bout to determine the winner. The match against North Central was another back and forth match that the Cardinals ended up pulling away with in the final two matches.
 
Nick Sacco won both of his bouts on Saturday, completing the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record. He first took down fourth regionally ranked Gabe Fiser by decision with a score of 4-2. His second match was another decision win, this time over nationally 14^th ranked Cole Cervantes of North Central by a score of 8-7.
 
Quinn Haddad had a pin in his one win on the day against Payton Geigner of North Central. Domenic Difrancescantonio also did the same in his win the North Central Match over Bradley Rosen.
 
Ryan Rosenthal, Kyle Nase, Mike Conklin and Joe Daddario each picked up decision wins in the match against Loras while Reid Colella got a win in the North Central match.
 
The Lions take the mat again next weekend at the Will Abele Invitational at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. starting at 10 AM.
