EWING, N.J.- The TCNJ Wrestling team is just days away from the NWCA National Dual Championships in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Friday, January 5
th. Seeded 7
th, the Lions have earned themselves a coveted first-round bye, setting the stage for a thrilling matchup against the winner of Wabash College and Aurora University.

The Lions (4-1) strive to build on their impressive 8
th place team finish at the NWCA National Duals last season. Their 3-1 record on day one included victories over Mount Union (47-0), RIT (29-9), and No. 7 Wabash (19-15), with their sole day one loss to Johnson & Wales (27-13).

On day two, they fell in two close matches to No. 12 Loras College (16-15) and No. 5 North Centra (24-18), which earned them 8
th.

In the most recent national ranking poll, the Lions were ranked 9
th for dual meets and 14
th for tournaments. With three nationally ranked wrestlers and an additional seven ranked in the Mideast Region, the Blue and Gold are poised for another standout performance. You can check out the NWCA national rankings article
