ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The TCNJ diving duo of
Ethan Weiss and
Michael Wu concluded their weekend at the 2024 NCAA Diving Regionals with a pair of solid 1-meter dive performances on Saturday afternoon.
Weiss narrowly missed out on a direct qualification onto the NCAA Championships, but will be a second alternate in the region.
DAY TWO RESULTS
- For the second consecutive day, Weiss rounded out in fifth place after scoring a 454.75 through 11 rounds on the board. The junior had an average round score of 41.34. If not selected as an alternate for the championship meet, Weiss concludes a stellar campaign that saw him break his third program record in the 3-meter six dives, while also being crowned NJAC champion in the 1-meter dive.
- Wu placed 14th on the board after compiling a final score of 399.90 to wrap up his season. The junior had an average round score of 36.35 through 11 dives.
UP NEXT
The Lions will compete in the NCAA Division III Championships in three weeks, from March 20-23, to conclude the 2023-24 collegiate season.
